We began this newsletter to do one thing: make sports easier to love. We love writing and talking about sports in the way we do and ideally, we can bring the same warm fuzzy feeling to you every Thursday morning at 8:30 AM.

There are big plans for 2024 but first here’s a look back at 2023 - granted only a quarter of the year for us.

We wrote over 150 stories in the last quarter 😳, and over half of them were football-related 🏈, both NFL and College. Of course, we sprinkled in the drama, the relationships, the tea, and everything not-so-sports-related. It’s just a bit harder to graph those 😅.

Who told you I can read?

It’s hard when there’s so much to say and so few words (that you pay attention to). If we look at 2023 there were certainly moments we got carried away with the length, no one’s reading a 2,700-word email let’s face it 😔.

But we’re trending in the right direction as you can see below and it’s important to us to become unbelievably efficient with our words and provide an even more streamlined injection of jovial sports info into your brain 🧠.
